Note the difference: a PAN card photo is 2.5 × 3.5 cm for the online upload, while a standard passport-size photo is 3.5 × 4.5 cm (35 × 45 mm) — don't mix them up. The Custom mode lets you enter any width and height in px or cm, so you can hit 4.5 × 3.5 cm or any other size exactly.

PAN Card Photo Resize Kaise Kare?

Compress a PAN Signature — 10 KB, 50 KB or Black & White
PAN signatures have the tightest limits — as low as 10 KB on the Protean DSC route, and UTIITSL requires a black-and-white signature. Switch to Signature mode, upload a photo of your signature on white paper, and this signature compressor crops it to 4.5 × 2 cm (or 400 × 200 px), converts it to greyscale where needed, and compresses it under the cap. A fresh PAN application asks you to upload supporting documents as a PDF, maximum 300 KB per page — and the portal often rejects a file that's exactly 300 KB, so it has to be strictly under. How to Change or Update the Photo on a PAN Card
To change or update the photo on an existing PAN card, you file a PAN correction (Changes/Correction) request on the NSDL / Protean or UTIITSL portal and upload a new photograph and signature. You can do all of this online from home — the one thing the portal insists on is that the new image matches its exact size, DPI and KB.
